Phormium Emerald Gem is a dwarf NZ native flax. Forms a compact bushy clump with unusual emerald green leaves, and neat twisting seed pods. Excellent for the front of the border or mass planted on a bank. Much smaller than P. cookianum, so better for use in a home garden.  Grows to approx. 0.8m x 0.8m when mature.
