Ficus pumila, commonly known as Creeping Fig or Climbing Fig, is a fast-growing, evergreen climbing or trailing vine native to East Asia. It can grow up to 3–4 meters in height when climbing walls or structures and spreads indefinitely when used as ground cover. The plant features small, heart-shaped juvenile leaves that mature into larger, leathery green foliage. It produces inconspicuous greenish flowers, followed by small, pear-shaped fruits. It is widely used for covering walls, fences, and trellises, as well as for ground cover in warm, sheltered gardens due to its vigorous growth and ability to create dense, green coverage.
