Corokia cotoneaster, commonly known as wire-netting bush or Korokio, is a hardy evergreen shrub native to New Zealand. It typically grows up to 3 meters in height with a similar spread. The plant has a distinctive zig-zagging, wiry branch structure and small, silver-green leaves. In spring, it produces small, star-shaped yellow flowers, followed by red or orange berries in autumn. Corokia cotoneaster is frost-hardy and thrives in well-drained soils, tolerating both drought and wind. It is generally used in mixed native plantings.
