Apodasmia similis, aka Oioi or Jointed Wire-rush. This NZ Native is found throughout New Zealand in marshlands and estuaries. It has fine grey-green leaves and brownish bracts at the joints. It grows in full sun and prefers damp, swampy areas. Ideal wetland and landscaping plant. Grows to approx. 1m tall x 1.5m wide when mature.
