Spud Storage

I don't know about you, but most of us who like trees and shrubs also tend a vege patch!


Here's a handy tip for growing spuds: the best place to store them over winter is in the garden! You plant a big crop of them in spring, and once they're ready you can keep on digging them up as you need them right through until next spring when they start to sprout again. And they still taste just as good.


Here's a photo as proof - my wife dug up this monster late in the season, came in at just under 800g and tasted beautiful!
